Crown city computers was founded in South Pasadena, CA in 2002 by Kevin Richards. It was a company founded out of frustration mostly. As someone new to computers in the mid 90's, Kevin was having a hard time keeping his PC running smoothly. Sometimes it did what he wanted, a lot of the time, it didn't. Calling the 24HR tech support line was a big hassle, and usually didn't solve any problems. Well Kevin did what most wouldn't do, he went and learned everything he could about personal computers. He has worked in several different tech support roles, from assisting the company owner on his PC, to phone and email support of thousands of people for a large internet provider. As time has passed, personal computers have become even more a part of our lives. Unfortunately, the support industry has been very slow to adapt from its old Windows 95 era supports methods. There had to be a better way...

Of course, this is where Crown City Computers comes in! We are different because we are locally based. What does this mean for you? We can come to your house! You don't have to try to explain technical issues, you can point to it and say, "this is what it has been doing". You can take a lesson, on YOUR own computer, where you feel most comfortable and able to learn. We can even do some minor repairs/upgrades at your home! All of this at a bargain price because we don't have the overhead of the shop that you don't have to drive to!
